Can you see Him? Can you see God in your every day activities? Can you see Him in your children's laughter? Can you see Him in the good? What about the tragedies around us, can you see God there? He is in all of it! Join us on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010 as we celebrate Jesus' resurrection and discover how to see God in EVERYTHING!
Breakfast will be at 10am and our service will begin at 10:30am. Come as you are! We will have some great music, communion, and a chance to learn more about how to see God.

Gray shared her story from walking with God. In her story, you will hear how God never left her and how He was always right beside her, even when she didn't feel Him close. Click here to listen.

What is grace? What is mercy? We use them interchangeably sometimes, but should we? Come join us at IMPACT 242 tonight, March 24, at 6:30pm. We will eat dinner first and then begin the discussion on grace and mercy. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Frank and Nan shared their story from walking with God. They have been walking with God for about 15 years. The last 6 years have been a stuggle for them. Listen to how God has guided them and shown Himself to them, even though they have felt beaten up. Click here to listen to their story.

Do we have to follow ALL of man's laws? Even the ones we don't agree with? Remember, our response to authority is a direct reflection of our attitude towards God. Join us this Wednesday for Impact 242. We will be taking a closer look at authority and the twist. We will have dinner at 6:30pm followed by Bible study, focusing on Romans 13:1-7. See you then!

Do you believe in the devil? Or what about Demons? I will admit the existence of the Devil and Demons seem like some kind of sci-fi creation. However, the Bible explains very clearly that the Devil and his demons have a very real and personal existence. Moreover, Jesus believed in and even spoke with Satan and his demons. If Jesus was aware of the unseen evil forces in our world then it will definitely serve us well to also beware of this other unseen world.
Although, we can't see the Devil and his demons we can clearly see their work. Just yesterday, Amy Bishop a professor at University of Alabama at Huntsville shot 6 colleagues (killing 3) after learning that she was not going to receive tenure...how twisted. I know what you are thinking...that is just an extreme example. However, be honest, can't you look back in your life and wonder "why" you did some of those crazy things. You know questions or comments like, "what was I thinking...", "how could I have put myself in that situation" or "I never realized it would lead to this".
The truth is that there is an unseen world that influences every area of our lives. If we choose not to believe or just ignore this truth then we will be one step closer to falling to the enemies attack.
Know this:
He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
Last week we started a new series called "Twisted" the idea being to unpack the truth behind this unseen evil world. We need to aware of our enemy and his strategy so that we can resist him and his attacks! Join us at Impact Church for the next four weeks as we look at four common "Twists" that the enemy uses to deceive us and send our life into a detour.

This Sunday, January 31, we will be taking another look into God's plan for marriage. We will be focusing on the love chapter, 1 Corinthians 13, and exploring the kind of love that brings unity. Only God's kind of love can make our marriages what He intended them to be from the beginning. The service begins at 10:30am with a little breakfast around 10:15am. Be sure to be there!

We are getting ready for our annual Superbowl party! It will be the talk of the town. Join us at Donnie and Robin's House (click here for directions) about 6pm. Saints? Colts? It doesn't matter. We are just looking forward to some good fellowship, and of course, some excellent food! Bring a dish to share. Bring a friend too! This will be a great opportunity to share your life with them. We are looking forward to it! Bring the kids too! See you February 7th at 6pm!
